Specific Practical Operation Steps
For initial preparation, mix 1 kilogram of cerium oxide polishing powder with 10 kilograms of room-temperature clean water. Always add water first, then pour in the powder to prevent dry powder from clumping and sinking to the bottom. Next, use stirring equipment to agitate the mixture at a constant speed for 3 to 5 minutes, until the slurry forms a uniform milky white suspension free of granular lumps. After stirring is complete, let the slurry stand for 2 to 3 minutes for activation treatment, which optimizes the suspension activity of the powder to achieve the best polishing performance.

Cleaning Methods for Cerium Oxide Glass Polishing Powder
Equipment Cleaning with Clean Water
Cerium oxide polishing powder tends to leave residual stains after use, so working equipment needs timely cleaning via direct flushing with appropriate water pressure. Basic protective gear is recommended during cleaning to prevent slurry splashing into the eyes. The polishing powder manufactured by our factory can make temporary contact with human skin without strong irritation. Do not use acidic or strongly alkaline detergents for cleaning, as they will damage the physical and chemical structure of the polishing powder and render it unrecyclable.
Cleaning Contaminated Clothes with Detergent
Add an appropriate amount of neutral detergent to clean water, soak clothes stained with cerium oxide polishing powder, gently scrub with a soft-bristled brush, and finally rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Ultrasonic Deep Cleaning
For small workpieces with complex structures and numerous dead corners, an ultrasonic cleaner can be used: place the items into the cleaning tank, add special cleaning solution and start the equipment for vibration cleaning, then take out the items and rinse off all residues completely.
Hot Water Assisted Cleaning
For polishing powder residues with strong adhesion, warm water soaking can be adopted for cleaning.
